My work has always consisted of layers, so this new series of work isn't necessarily unique to the layering process. But, the technique is unique to my process. I have been layering photography and paintings by either digitally merging them or physically layering paint over photography. The digital process can sometimes distract from a more raw painting process but I'm feeling inspired by the results.
